Modus Méchanique (2015)

Modus Méchanique is a site-specific experimental ballet and physical theatre production with printing presses and percussion that explores the intersections between body and machine, ephemera and the archive, music, movement, memory and materiality. In its initial performance in 2015 at The Aesthetic Union, a letter-press studio in San Francisco’s Mission District, Jacquelyn collaborated with master printer James Tucker and composer Gala Aranaga to write, direct, choreograph, and perform with a diverse talented cast of actors, dancers, artists and musicians.
